A punter and linebacker who played most of his career with the Buffalo Bills, where he won three AFL Championships, Paul Maguire was known around the league for his quick wit and humor well before he hung up the cleats.

Maguire joined NBC and later ESPN as a football color commentator, and he called games for the NFL, the Canadian Football League, and the USFL. Maguire’s football versatility allowed him to cover games from the highest level to outlier leagues, and do so in the most entertaining way possible.
