A nine-year veteran NFL Defensive End/Tackle, Mike Golic moved into an analyst role, working on various shows, but it was his pairing with Mike Greenberg that made him a household name in sports media.

“Mike and Mike” were the perfect blend of the jock (Golic) and the sports nerd (Greeneberg), and they played off of each other beautifully. Over their 17-year run on ESPN, the tandem won multiple accolades and was among the most popular programs on ESPN Radio.

The pair would split in 2017, but Golic would continue on as one of the most recognized figures in sports commentary on radio and television.
