Lee Corso has a plethora of accomplishments as a coach and football analyst, but it was his role on College GameDay that made him a Saturday Superstar.

Hired at the inception of ESPN’s College Game Day in 1987, Corso served in that role until 2025, during which his entertaining style and mascot selection dazzled fans coast to coast.

When Corso did his last selection on the first GameDay broadcast of 2025, it was not just Kirk Herbstreit who was crying.

We are proud to nominate Lee Corso for the United States Athletic Hall of Fame.
