A seven-year veteran Wide Receiver with the Cincinnati Bengals, Cris Collinsworth immediately went into broadcasting, serving in multiple roles for HBO, NBC, and Fox, but it was his return to NBC in 2006 that made him the lead color man for Sunday Night Football, and his profile shot to the moon.

Collinsworth became known for two things that usually don’t mesh: complex analytical detail and personal chemistry with his co-analysts. It is little known that Collinsworth is the majority owner of Pro Football Focus, and, as such, his knowledge of advanced metrics and schemes and his ability to translate that information into a palatable form have made him a fan favorite. He has won an obscene amount of Sports Emmys (17), and as he is still active, the trophy case can still add more awards.
