Many Basketball Coaches have transitioned into broadcasting, but few could relate the “x’s and o’s” with that lens like Hubie Brown.

A two-time NBA Coach of the Year, Brown was broadcasting even while still an active coach. Brown went full-time in the booth, working for CBS, TNT, and ESPN, dissecting plays in rapid-fire yet succinctly. Known affectionately as the “Educator”, Brown explained hoops through a coach’s eye, and thousands of fans learned the game because of him.

Brown called 18 NBA Finals and won the Curt Gowdy Award from the Basketball Hall of Fame.
