A four-time Super Bowl Champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Terry Bradshaw dabbled in the broadcast booth for playoff games while he was still an active player, so when he hung up the cleats for good, it surprised nobody that he went into the booth full-time after he retired.
The very likable country boy from Louisiana resonated with fans, and he was a natural to join the studio in 1990 with CBS. He moved to Fox, where his humor (even on his own expense) shone even brighter. Bradshaw became so popular that he twice won TV Guide’s “Favorite Sportscaster” in a readers’ poll. His high-energy style made him a natural to branch out into other forms of television and movies.
We are proud to nominate Terry Bradshaw for the United States Athletic Hall of Fame.
