    Dr. James Andrews

    • On the surface, this might seem like a strange choice for a nomination, but the contributions of Dr. James Andrews to sports is unquantifiable.

      An orthopedic surgeon, Andrews’ work has salvaged the careers of athletes of every sport. He built the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center, a state-of-the-art facility for rehabbing sports injuries, and the list of people he performed surgery on includes hall of fame athletes in multiple sports.

      We are proud to nominate Dr. James Andrews for the United States Athletic Hall of Fame.
