Jenny Thompson led Stanford to four NCAA Swimming Championships and boasted 19 individual and relay titles.
She represented the United States in four Olympic Games (1994, 1998, 2000, and 2006) and won gold in eight relay events. Along with multiple relay championships in the World Championships (4), Pan-Pacific Championships (11), and Pan-American Championships (1), Thompson is arguably the most decorated relay swimmer in American history. She also won numerous medals as an individual, primarily in the 100m Freestyle.
We are proud to nominate Jenny Thompson for the United States Athletic Hall of Fame.
